ROYAL FAMILY Tai Mochi Taro Mochi with Coconut Shred is mochi that is shaped like a little dumpling, these super chewy sweet treats consist of sticky mochi rice blend with unique flavors and filled to the brim with taro paste and lightly dusted with coconut shred.

Mochi (sticky rice cake) was called "doushu" (bean rice cake) in early Taiwanese society but later became better known as "mochi" under the influence of the Japanese dessert "wagashi" during the Japanese colonial period. This treat is one of the representative delicacies of Taiwan's aboriginal and Hakka cultures.

Taiwanese mochi (also called “Muah-chi” in Hokkien) is usually rolled in toppings such as toasted peanuts or black sesame.
