As a vegetable oil derived from a plant seed with half the saturated fat of regular vegetable oil Mazola Canola Oil is a versatile all-purpose salad and cooking oil. The light delicate flavor compliments other foods and is the ideal oil for salad dressings and marinades, baking sauting and light frying.

Canola oil contains a low level of saturated fat - less than one gram per 1 tablespoon. Mazola Canola Oil is naturally cholesterol free lowest in saturated fat of all Mazola oils and is a good source of vitamin E.

Product can be stored for 12 years (depending on bottle type) under normal storage conditions (7080F). Storage below 45F may cause clouding, and exposure to ultraviolet light can cause off flavors.

Limited and not conclusive scientific evidence suggests that eating about 1 tablespoons (19 grams) of canola oil daily may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease due to the unsaturated fat content in canola oil.
