What are the Main Ingredients of Mayonnaise?

Soybean Oil

It is the most widely produced edible oil in the world. Because it also has emulsification stability and cold resistance, this oil is easy to use to make mayonnaise.

Egg

Another basic ingredient is chicken eggs. The eggs used must be fresh, and to remove the bacteria, the eggs must be heated to a certain temperature. The part of the egg used is usually the yolk and the white of the egg, but Japanese mayonnaise only uses the egg yolk.
